Giving

Your contribution to the Southeastern Connecticut Community Land Trust directly supports permanently affordable homes, community-controlled land, and equitable development across our region. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all contributions are tax-deductible, and every gift helps strengthen long-term stability, access to land, and opportunities for the communities we serve.

Ways to give

Single Giving

Every donation is appreciated, regardless of the amount or frequency. If you are unable to commit to a monthly donation, one-time donations are still great. Every dollar we receive goes toward making our community more affordable, equitable, and sustainable. Donors choose from one of the suggested donation tiers or specify exactly how much to give.

Monthly Giving

By signing up to give a donation automatically each month, you will play a vital role in sustaining our mission. A recurring donation not only helps fund our operation in the short term, but it also allows us to plan for the longer term. Donors choose how much to give and can even specify a date to stop their automatic giving.

Annual Giving

Make an annual gift to Southeastern Connecticut Community Land Trust and help create lasting access to affordable homeownership and community land. Your yearly support strengthens neighborhoods, preserves housing, and builds a more equitable future across Southeastern Connecticut. Every gift makes a difference.

The SE CT CLT  recognizes that Indigenous people have lived and cared for this region for thousands of years before the setters. Their understanding of land as a shared responsibility, supporting both human and non-human life, stands in contrast with the settler colonial concept of private property.

We acknowledge that the transformation of land into a commodity has brought wealth to some while causing deep harm, displacement, and loss to others. As a Community Land Trust, we hold title to land within this system and recognize the complexity of that responsibility.

We aim to move from extractive ownership models toward community-based stewardship, and we are committed to working respectfully and collaboratively with Indigenous partners to build a more just and sustainable future for land access in Southeastern Connecticut.
